The season ends with a cliffhanger, where Wells gives The Flash a life-changing opportunity. We see Barry dealing with the supervillain Reverse-Flash to ensure everyone’s safety. A new nemesis, Rathaway is introduced who poses a threat to both Wells and The Flash, all whom The Flash has to fight. Captain Cold also sets a trap to capture Flash. Captain Cold and Micky Rory return to town, planning to raid a million dollars. The one who killed Nora Allen is revealed and turns out that he is way more powerful than most. The best highlight of this season is when Fash and Arrow come together as a team, to fight off a metahuman. Various missions are undertaken by Fash and S.T.A.R Labs capturing Kyle Nimbus, stopping a robbery, and facing a new metahuman, Tony. Iris and Eddie are dating and keeping it under covers from Joe. The season proceeds people get to know that Barry is a metahuman, with the capability of replicating himself.
